Our #SnowTimesInScugog contest is making its return for the 2024-25 Winter season!

Our little home is a picturesque Holiday destination, as seen in multiple Hallmark™ movies, and we want you to help showcase that! Whether you are partaking in Holiday-themed activities, recreating a scene from your favourite Hallmark™ movie, or just cozying up to a warm and relaxing fire, we want to see how you spend your #SnowTimesInScugog!

Rules and Regulations

By entering the #SnowTimesInScugog contest, contestants agree to the following Rules and Regulations:

Photo must be taken within Scugog.
Photo must be posted to Facebook and/or Instagram, using #SnowTimesInScugog and tagging the Township of Scugog.
Contestant must be following the Township of Scugog on Facebook and/or Instagram.
Content of submissions must be appropriate. The Township of Scugog reserves the right to determine if content is appropriate and therefore decide whether the submission is valid.
Permission will be granted to the Township of Scugog to use contest submissions in future communications, unless otherwise requested by contestant.

Prize Winner Selection and Publication

In order to fairly determine a winner, the Township of Scugog will select a contestant at random. To do so, each submission will be assigned to a number and a random number will be drawn. The contestant assigned to that number will be deemed the winner of the contest.

The winner of the contest will then be contacted via social media through the account the submission was posted from. The Township of Scugog will contact that person directly, announce their victory, and determine a date and time to arrange pickup of the aforementioned prize. A post will then be publicly made to Township of Scugog social media channels (a photo will taken during the prize pickup which will be used for the public announcement, so long as the contestant is comfortable with it; if the winner prefers not to be posted to our social media, that must be determined beforehand and will not void the contest victory).
