One big beautiful lake. Hundreds of adventures.
What does your adventure look like?
Music and food at a culinary festival? Cycling on a quiet country road, or a hot stone massage followed by a Hemingway’s Daquiri on a patio? Sounds good!
In the Township of Scugog, just an hour northeast from Toronto – where the skyline has trees and rolling hills – there are a lot of possibilities.
And simple things make for wonderful memories, like walks in the forest where you can watch for deer and rabbits, picnics by the water or lunch on a lakeside patio. Discover an amazing new artist, or eat cinnamon buns that people line up for out the door. This is farm country, with markets, lavender fields, fresh-picked berries and a lovely winery.
Because life doesn’t have to be complicated.
Come mingle with the locals in the quaint town of Port Perry where you’ll find the Victorian heritage district and distinctive old buildings that house character and charm, as well as unique shops, theatre and farm-to-table restaurants. The main street leads right down to Lake Scugog where boats launch and the waterfront park is great for hanging out in the sunshine. And when you get thirsty, we have an award-winning brewery that specializes in bringing local ingredients to their craft beers.
Oh, you'll be pleasantly surprised!
