The Township of Scugog is thrilled to announce its return to in-person FREE celebration for Canada day 2022 at Palmer Park on Friday, July 1st! Enjoy a variety of food and artisan vendors, have a taste of Old Flame Brewing Co.’s award-winning beverages, watch stunning antique and modern corvettes cruise down Queen St. for the Support Our Troops parade, and more!

Official Land Acknowledgement
Scugog Township is situated on the Treaty and traditional territory of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. The people of Scugog Township are humbled to recognize the many contributions made by the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples of Canada, and celebrate the historic foundation and many contributions from the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation to the Township.
We are grateful for the opportunity provided by this special place we all share, and we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land for millennia

Parade Information
The Support Our Troops parade featuring ‘Vettes for Vets and other local organizations will be one you can’t forget! The parade is set to begin at 10:30AM. See below for the parade map and parking chart.

Your kids will LOVE the range of activities planned for our Canada day celebration! Enjoy a variety of arts n’ crafts activities with our recreation and museum staff, hop away in the jumping castle, meet princess Moana or Ariel, and show off your colourful face painting by Sandy Dale Face Painting and Glitter!
